Dhyan Sreenivasan's Swargathile Katturumbu gears up for release

Gayathri Ashok plays the female lead in the film

Dhyan Sreenivasan's long-delayed film Swargathile Katturumbu is now eyeing for a May release. The film is directed by Jespal Shanmughan, who previously helmed films like ATM (2012) and Mithram (2014). Gayathri Ashok plays the female lead in the upcoming film, which was wrapped up last year. Sivankuttan Vadayampady has penned the story while Viju Ramachandran has written the screenplay and dialogues.

It also features Joy Mathew, Gowri Nanda, Ambika Mohan, Maheshwari Amma, Nirmal Palazhi, Rajesh Paravur, Manohari Joy, and the late Kollam Sudhi in prominent roles. Produced by S Vijayakumar and KN Sivankuttan under the banner of Myna Creations, Swargathile Katturumbu is billed as a comedy entertainer. The film has cinematography by Ashwaghosan, editing by Kapil Krishna and music by Bijibal.

Meanwhile, Dhyan will be next seen in Vineeth Sreenivasan's Varshangalkku Shesham and the Nivin Pauly-starrer Malayalee From India, directed by Dijo Jose Antony. His upcoming slate also includes Vinay Jose's Cop Uncle, Mahesh P Srinivasan's Kudumbasreeyum Kunjadum and Dhananjay Shankar's Ba Ba Ba.
