On Monday, the makers of Manjummel Boys released the video of its most celebrated song Kuthanthram. Composed by Sushin Shyam, the song has lyrics penned by rapper Vedan. Along with the lead actors, the visuals also feature the actual Manjummel boys, whose lives inspired the film's creation.

It stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Ganapathy, Jean Paul Lal, Balu Varghese, Deepak Parambol, Arun Kurian, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Chandu Salimkumar, Vishnu Raghu, and Khalid Rahman. The film, written and directed by Chidambaram, was released on February 22 and opened to rave reviews from both critics and general audiences.

Having become the first Malayalam film to earn over Rs 200 crores from theatres alone, Manjummel Boys is currently the industry's highest grosser. As per trade experts, the film has also done record-shattering business in Tamil Nadu, where it is already the biggest Malayalam hit ever. It is produced jointly by Soubin Shahir, Babu Shahir and Shawn Antony.
