‘Thumbi’ song from Anchakkallakokkan out

CE Features

‘Thumbi’ song from Anchakkallakokkan was released by the makers on Saturday. It is an energetic song clearly inspired from Kerala's folk art form, Thumbi Thullal.

The film is directed by Ullas Chemban and co-written by Vikil Venu along with the director. It is headlined by the director's brother Chemban Vinod Jose and Lukman Avaran. It also stars Manikandan R Achari, Megha Thomas and Merin Mary Philip in prominent roles.

The song features some glimpses from the film where people are dancing to the tune inside a toddy shop along with some action-packed visuals. With vocals by Malu and music by Manikandan Ayyappa, the lyrics for the song are co-written by the singer and the music director.

Anchakkallakokkan is scripted by Vikil Venu and produced by Chemban Vinod Jose. On the technical front, it has cinematography by Armo, music by Manikandan Ayyappa, and editing by Rohit VS Variyath. The film is set to hit the screens on March 15.

Meanwhile, Chemban Vinod Jose is scripting the Mohanlal-starrer Rambaan next. The film is helmed by Joshiy, under whose direction Chemban had earlier acted in Porinju Mariam Jose and Antony. On the other hand, Lukman will be next seen in Kundannoorile Kulsitha Lahala. Turkish Tharkkam with Sunny Wayne and an untitled Khalid Rahman film is also in the line up.
