Arjun Ashokan is set to headline director Akhil Anilkumar's next. The latter made his directorial debut in 2022 with the Aishwarya Lekshmi-starrer Archana 31 Not Out. The upcoming film, which yet-to-be titled is produced by Shebin Backer and editor-director Mahesh Narayanan. Recently, its makers had shared a casting call looking for actors from Palakkad.

Arjun Ashokan, last seen in Bramayugam, has multiple projects lined up. He is currently working on Anand Sreebala, a mystery thriller, which marks the maiden directorial of veteran filmmaker Vinayan's son, Vishnu Vinay. Aparna Das, yesteryear actor Sangeetha and Dhyan Sreenivasan also star in the film, which is produced Malikappuram-fame Abhilash Pillai. Arjun's upcoming projects include Anbodu Kanmani, a family drama, directed by Liju Thomas.
