The makers of Oru Jaathi Jathakam, starring Vineeth Sreenivasan and Nikhila Vimal, released its teaser on Monday. The film is directed by Katha Parayumbol-fame M Mohanan, who previously helmed Aravindante Adhithikal.

The teaser starts with Nikhila Vimal's character reading Vineeth Sreenivasan's palm and cautioning him that he's going to face the most ominous time of his life. The rest of the teaser hints at a comic rollercoaster. Others in the cast include Babu Antony, PP Kunhikrishnan, Mridul Nair, Vidhu Prathap, Sayanora Philip and Kayadu Lohar.

Oru Jaathi Jathakam is scripted by Rakesh Mantodi, who has penned films like Thira and Godha. Backed by Maha Subair, the upcoming film has Hridayam-fame Viswajit Odukkathil as the cinematographer and Guna Balasubramanian handling the music. Ranjan Abraham is editing the film, which is yet to get a release date.

Meanwhile, Vineeth Sreenivasan is also awaiting the release of his directorial Varshangalkku Shesham, featuring Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead.
