Thankamani trailer: an emotional Dileep, commotion aplenty, and a burning bus

The trailer of the upcoming Dileep-starrer Thankamani was released by the film's makers on YouTube earlier tonight. The trailer gives a glimpse into the film's setting and plot, featuring an emotional Dileep, a bus set on fire, and a raucous crowd. The film is based on a real-life incident that arose from a bus service dispute in Thankamani, Idukki. The dispute gave rise to the ignition of the bus and subsequent police action.

Ratheesh Raghunandan wrote and directed Thankamani, while RB Choudhry produced it under the Super Good Films banner in association with Iffaar Media Raaffi Mathirra. On the other hand, Sujit J Nair is the co-producer of the film.

On the technical front, Manoj Pillai shot the film, Shyam Sasidharan edited it, and William Francis composed its music. The film also stars Neeta Pillai, Siddique, Pranitha Subhash, Manoj K Jayan, Ajmal Ameer, and Major Ravi. It will hit theatres on March 07, this year.
