Court orders police to lodge a case against vloggers who criticised Dileep's Bandra

The makers of the film alleged that the reviewers criticised the film within half an hour of its release last November

The Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in Trivandrum ordered Poonthura police to lodge a case against and investigate some vloggers who put out negative reviews of Dileep's recent film BandraThe vloggers in question are Aswanth Kok, Unni, Sai Krishna, Shihab, Shaz Mohamed, Arjun, and Shijas. The makers of the film alleged that the reviewers criticised the film within half an hour of its release last November.

According to the producer of Bandra, namely Ajith Vinayaka Films, they practiced review bombing, which refers to the act of deliberately posting false reviews regarding a film to mislead the audience. This practice is unofficially termed review bombing in film circles, and the first such case was filed by Rahel Makan Kora director Ubaini in Kochi.
