The teaser of the upcoming Disney+Hotstar series Nagendran’s Honeymoons, directed by Nithin Renji Panicker and headlined by Suraj Venjaramoodu, was released on Thursday. Billed as a comedy series, its tagline reads, "1 Life... 5 Wives." Promising a rural comedy, the teaser begins with an old woman's voice-over condemning her son for being exactly like his father. This is followed by exchanges that make it clear that Suraj's character wants to escape his uneventful rural life and go abroad. As one of his friends proposes a way out, we are introduced to the show's female leads.

Suraj is making his web series debut with Nagendran’s Honeymoons. The show also stars Shwetha Menon, Grace Antony, Kani Kusruti, Niranjana Anoop, and Alphy Panjikaran in the lead roles. Kalabhavan Shajon, Ramesh Pisharody, Janardanan, Prashanth Alexander, and Ammu Abhirami are also part of its cast. Its technical crew comprises cinematographer Nikhil S Praveen, editor Mansoor Muthutty, and music director Ranjin Raj.

Nithin has also penned and produced Nagendran’s Honeymoons. He made his feature debut with the Mammootty-starrer Kasaba, and followed it up with Suresh Gopi's Kaaval.
