Varaaham teaser: An intense Suresh Gopi gives an analogy on Jallikattu

On the occasion of actor-politician Suresh Gopi's birthday, the teaser of Varaaham was unveiled by the makers. The film is directed by Sanal V Devan, known for previously helming Kunjamminis Hospital. Aided by a pulsating score, the teaser features an intense monologue from the lead actor about the intricacies of the traditional bull-taming festival Jallikattu. It focuses on the strategy of a bull to trick the man trying to keep it under control, hinting at the protagonist's plan of action in the film, which appears to be a revenge thriller.

Varaaham's story is jointly written by Jithu K Jayan and Sesham Mikeil Fathima director Manu C Kumar, with the latter also credited for the screenplay and dialogues. The film also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Tamil filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon, Navya Nair, Sreejith Ravi, Sarayu, Indrans, Santhosh Keezhattoor and Mamangam-fame Prachi Tehlan, among others. It has cinematography by Ajay David Kachappilly, editing by Mansoor Muthutty and music direction by Rahul Raj. The film is produced by Maverik Movies Pvt Ltd in association with Sanjaypandiyoor Entertainment.

Last seen in Garudan, Suresh Gopi has a slew of projects lined up. He has Pravin Narayanan's debut film JSK, the long-delayed film Ottakomban, a project with Mammootty Kampany, and three other films produced by Sree Gokulam Movies lined up. On the political front, he took charge as the Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas in the recently formed NDA government.
