On Tuesday, actor Parvathy shared a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of Ullozhukku on social media. It features the director of the film and her co-stars Urvashi and Arjun Radhakrishnan. She captioned the post, "From Fatimapuram to Panampilly, it’s been fun and all but we got some unfinished business Rajeeveey!," and added, "My fav is the pic with Urvashi chechi."

Written and directed by Christo Tomy, Ullozhukku was released on June 21 and opened to rave reviews from the critics and general audience. The film is an emotional drama set in a flooded Kuttanad, featuring Parvathy and Urvashi as Anju and her mother-in-law Leelamma respectively. Its cast also includes Prashant Madhav and Alencier Ley Lopez in prominent roles.

Ullozhukku has cinematography by Bramayugam-fame Shehnad Jalal, editing by Kiran Das and music by Sushin Shyam. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Honey Trehan and Abhishek Chaubey under the banners of RSVP and MacGuffin Pictures.

An excerpt from the CE review of Ullozhukku reads, "Beyond his mastery over characterisations and extracting performances, Christo also has a fine grip over the portrayal of the passage of time. Much of the action happens within the inundated house during the time they wait for the waters to subside. Despite being surrounded by water, it is as if the family is boiling inside.
