The makers of Malayalee From India, headlined by Nivin Pauly, have announced that the film will stream on SonyLIV in July without specifying the exact date. The film, released worldwide on May 1, is directed by Dijo Jose Antony and penned by Sharis Mohammed, the duo known for their work on Queen (2018) and Jana Gana Mana (2022).

Malayalee From India also stars Anaswara Rajan, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Manju Pillai, Shine Tom Chacko, Salim Kumar, and Vijayakumar in prominent roles. The film is jointly produced by Nivin's home banner Pauly Jr Pictures and Listin Stephen's Magic Frames. Its technical team includes cinematographer Sudeep Elamon, editor Sreejith Sarang and composer Jakes Bejoy.

An excerpt from the CE review of the film read, "As the film draws to a close, viewers may find themselves puzzled about its overarching message. The film initially delves into Kerala's communal politics, but even after emphasizing the futility of hatred, Gopi's stance on the outfits propagating hate remains uncertain. Malayalee From India ends up as another testament to the fact that storytelling requires more than just good intentions."
