The trailer of Kunchacko Boban's upcoming release Grrr dropped on Saturday. The 1.57-minute trailer starts with the disappearance of Kunchacko's character Rejimon Nadar. Medias are seen speculating it to be a case of love failure or honour killing. We then see a drunk Reji deliberately entering a lion's enclosure in the zoo and challenging the animal.

While Suraj Venjaramoodu essays the role of one of the zookeepers who attempt to rescue him, Alencier is seen as an "expert tranquilizer shooter." Actors like Shruti Ramachandran, Manju Pillai, Anagaha, Rajesh Madhavan, Senthil Krishna, Ramesh Pisharody and Shobi Thilakan also feature in the trailer.

Grrr is directed by Jay K, who earlier made the horror thriller Ezra. He has also scripted the new film along with Praveen S. The technical crew comprises Jayesh Nair (cinematographer), Vivek Harshan (editor) and Dawn Vincent (background score). Dawn, Kailas Menon and Tony Tarz have composed the songs, while filmmaker Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval has handled the production design.

Produced by Shaji Nadesan and actor Arya under the banner of August Cinema, the film is slated for release this Friday (June 14).
