The film, written and directed by debutant Arfaz Ayub, has dialogues by his father Adam Ayub

CE Features

The makers of Level Cross unveiled the film's teaser on Saturday. It features Asif Ali, Amala Paul, and Sharafudheen in the lead roles. The teaser begins with a wide shot of a railway cross, set amid a desert. Shortly, we hear Asif's mysterious character—with a peculiarly rugged look—narrating to Amala about a nearby village that lost its inhabitants to a ghost, to which the latter says she's only scared of humans instead of ghosts. We are also shown glimpses featuring Sharafudheen and Amala in an urban setting.

Level Cross, written and directed by debutant Arfaz Ayub, has dialogues by his father Adam Ayub. In a recent conversation with CE, Asif stated, "Level Cross features me portraying a unique character set in an imaginary place, shot mainly in Tunisia."

The film has cinematography by Appu Prabhakar, music by Vishal Chandrashekhar and editing by Deepu Joseph. Ramesh P Pillai is producing Level Cross and director Jeethu Joseph will be presenting it.
