'Thaaraka Mizhi' song from Kanakarajyam out

The makers of Kanakarajyam, starring Indrans and Murali Gopy, dropped the video of the song titled 'Thaaraka Mizhi'. Composed by Arun Muraleedharan, with lyrics penned by BK Harinarayanan, the melodious number has been sung by KS Chithra. The film, released on July 6, is written and directed by Sagar, who previously helmed Sathyam Mathrame Bodhippikku (2022) and Veekam (2022).

Kanakarajyam also has Sreejith Ravi, Dinesh Prabhakar, Kottayam Ramesh, Rajesh Sharma, Unni Raj, Achuthanandan, James Eliya, Harish Pengan, Remya Suresh, Saina Krishna, and Sreevidya Mullassery as part of its cast. Bankrolled by Ajith Vinayaka, the film's technical crew includes cinematographer Abhilash Shankar and editor Ajeesh Anand.

Meanwhile, Indrans' upcoming slate includes Rasheed Parakkal's fantasy comedy Kuttante Shinigami and the Arjun Ashokan-starrer Anand Sreebala, which marks the directorial debut of veteran director Vinayan's son Vishnu Vinay.

On the other hand, the shoot of Murali's upcoming film as a writer, Empuraan, is progressing. Headlined by Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, it is the much-awaited sequel to the 2019 film Lucifer.
