Chithini, billed as a supernatural horror thriller, is up for release on August 2. Meanwhile, the makers shared a new song from the film titled Shyla Nandini, a semi-classical dance number. It is sung by Sathya Prakash and composed by Ranjin Raj, while Santhosh Varma has penned the lyrics.

Chithini, featuring Amith Chakalakkal and Vinay Forrt in the lead roles, is directed by East Coast Vijayan and produced by his home banner East Coast Communications Pvt Ltd. The upcoming film's screenplay and dialogues are jointly penned by Vijayan and K Vanil, with the latter also being credited for the story.

Apart from Amith and Vinay, it also stars Mokksha, Arathy Nair, Enakshi Ganguly, Johny Antony, Sudheesh, Srikant Murali, Joy Mathew, Manikandan R Achari, Pramod Veliyanad, Jayakrishnan, Unni Raja, Gibin Gopinath, Rajesh Sharma, Koottickal Jayachandran, Anoop Sivasenan and Pauly Valsan, among others. On the technical front, Chithini has Ratheesh Ram cranking the camera and John Kutty handling the cuts.
