Earlier, we had reported about the recent cast additions to Dileep's Bha Bha Ba apart from brothers Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan playing prominent roles alongside the lead actor. The film, the directorial debut of Dhananjay Shankar, was launched with a traditional pooja ceremony attended by its cast and crew on Sunday.

Bha Bha Ba marks Tamil actors Redin Kingsley and Sandy's foray into Malayalam cinema. The film also stars Balu Varghese, Saranya Ponvannan, Sidharth Bharathan, Baiju Santhosh, Ashokan and Maniyanpilla Raju, among others. Billed as a mass entertainer, it is jointly scripted by actors Fahim Safar and Noorin Shereef. While it marks Noorin's debut as a writer, Fahim had earlier co-written the screenplay of the Joju George-starrer Madhuram (2021). Bha Bha Ba is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies.

Meanwhile, Dileep is shooting for his 150th film, directed by Binto Stephen, also a debutant. The family entertainer, produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames, is targeting an Onam release.
