The teaser of Panchayathu Jetty was released by the makers on Sunday. Scheduled to hit theatres on July 26, the film has been written, directed, and headlined by Manikandan Pattambi and Salim Hassan, both best known for their work on the acclaimed television sitcom Marimayam. The teaser of Panchayathu Jetty, promising to be a satire focused on the workings of a village council, depicts glimpses of protests by the residents of Kudungassery village over a transport issue, with assurances from the panchayat administration to resolve it.

Apart from the director duo, the upcoming film stars Marimayam regulars like Niyas Backer, Rachana Narayanankutty, Sneha Sreekumar, Unni Raj, Vinod Kovoor, and Mani Shornur in prominent roles. Salim Kumar, Pauly Valsan, Kulappully Leela, Arun Punalur and Resmi Anil are also part of its cast. It has cinematography by Krish Kymal, editing by Shyam Sasidharan and music by Ranjin Raj.

Panchayath Jetty is produced by Saptha Tharang Creations Pvt Ltd, in association with Vinod Films. The former is also backing the upcoming film Oru Kattil Oru Muri, helmed by Shanavas Bavakutty and penned by the veteran scenarist Raghunath Paleri. It features Hakeem Sha, Priyamvada Krishnan, and Poornima Indrajith in the lead roles.
