The makers of Kanakarajyam, featuring Indrans and Murali Gopy in the lead roles, released the video of the song titled Kaanaadhoorathaaro. Composed by Arun Muraleedharan, with lyrics penned by Rahul R Sarma, the song has been sung by Sreekanth Hariharan. The film, released on July 6, is written and directed by Sagar, known for helming Sathyam Mathrame Bodhippikku (2022) and Veekam (2022).

Kanakarajyam also stars Sreejith Ravi, Dinesh Prabhakar, Kottayam Ramesh, Rajesh Sharma, Unni Raj, Achuthanandan, James Eliya, Harish Pengan, Remya Suresh, Saina Krishna, and Sreevidya Mullassery, among others. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Abhilash Shankar and editing by Ajeesh Anand. It is produced by Ajith Vinayaka, who also backed the recently released film Gaganachari.

Meanwhile, Indrans is awaiting the release of Anand Sreebala, headlined by Arjun Ashokan, which marks the directorial debut of veteran director Vinayan's son Vishnu Vinay.

On the other hand, the shoot of Murali's upcoming film as a writer, Empuraan, is progressing. The upcoming film is the much-awaited sequel to Lucifer (2019), headlined by Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
