Veteran actor Saranya Ponvannan has been added to the cast of Dileep's upcoming film Bha Bha Ba. This will be her second film with Dileep after acting together in Colours (2009). Saranya was last seen in Malayalam in Madhupal's Oru Kuprasidha Payyan (2018), alongside Tovino Thomas. A National award-winning actor, Saranya played the female lead in several films in the 90s before moving on to supporting characters. She is best known for playing numerous mother roles in Tamil films in the past decade.

Bha Bha Ba, billed as a mass entertainer, will be directed by debutant Dhananjay Shankar. It is scripted by actors Fahim Safar and Noorin Shereef. While it marks Noorin's debut as a writer, Fahim had earlier co-written the screenplay of Madhuram (2021).

Bha Bha Ba also stars Vineeth Sreenivasan, Dhyan Sreenivasan and actor-dance choreographer Sandy in significant roles. The makers have already confirmed that more updates about the cast and crew will be shared in the coming days. Gokulam Gopalan of Sree Gokulam Movies is producing the film.
