Riyaz Khan has joined the cast of Unni Mukundan's upcoming film Marco. On Saturday, the makers shared a new video welcoming Riyaz to the team. It features Unni and Riyaz sharing a few lighter moments on sets.

Directed by Haneef Adeni, Marco is being made as an action-heavy film, with the makers claiming it to be the most violent film ever made in Malayalam. It is also planned to be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages.

Marco is the spin-off of Unni Mukundan's villain character from the 2018-released film Mikhael, also directed by Haneef Adeni. Marco's cast includes Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, Arjun Nandakumar, Durva Thaker, Yukti Tareja, Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, Ishan Shoukath, Siddique and Jagadish among others. It has Chandru Selvaraj as the cinematographer, Shameer Muhammed as the editor, KGF-fame Ravi Basrur as the music director and Kalai Kingson as the action choreographer.

Riyaz Khan, meanwhile, is enjoying a newfound popularity in social media circles after his dialogues from the 2004-released Jalolsavam went viral. The actor was last seen in Malayalam in DNA, directed by TS Suresh Babu. Unni Mukundan, on the other hand, has Get-Set Baby coming up.
