The trailer of Vishesham, headlined by composer Anand Madhusoodanan and Chinnu Chandni, was released by the makers on Thursday. The film, scheduled to hit the screens on July 19, is directed by Sooraj Tom, known for helming films like Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal (2018) and Krishnankutty Pani Thudangi (2021).

Going by the trailer, Vishesham promises to be a comedy entertainer centred on a married couple, played by Anand and Chinnu, trying to have a baby. Apart from handling the music, Anand has also scripted the upcoming film. This is his sophomore venture as a writer following Krishnankutty Pani Thudangi.

Vishesham also stars Baiju Johnson, Althaf Salim, Johny Antony, Dileesh Pothan, Vineeth Thattil, PP Kunhikrishnan, Suraj Pops, Sijo Johnson, Jilu Joseph, Maala Parvathi, Shyni Sara, Bhanumathi Payyanur, Ajitha Nambiar, Amrutha, and Ann Saleem in prominent roles. The film's technical department comprises cinematographer Sagar Ayyappan and editor Malavika VN. It is produced by Ani Sooraj and presented by Step2Films.

Over the years, Anand has been noted as a frequent collaborator of director Ranjith Sankar as a music director. He has composed for films like Molly Aunty Rocks! (2012), Pretham (2016), Punyalan Private Limited (2017), Njan Marykutty (2018), Pretham 2 (2018), and Kamala (2019), among others.
