Earlier, we reported that filmmaker-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon would be part of the upcoming Mammootty-starrer Bazooka. Now, the makers of the film have shared the character poster for Gautham on the occasion of the actor's birthday. He plays a character named Benjamin Joshua in the film.

Bazooka marks the directorial debut of Deeno Dennis, who is the son of well-known script writer Kaloor Dennis. The film's first-look poster generated a lot of buzz when it came out last year, as it featured a rear shot of Mammootty standing amid some gun-toting people, promising a slick and stylish actioner. Recently, the actor said that Deeno approached him with only the script and that he encouraged the writer to direct the film as well.

The cast of Bazooka also includes Sidharth Bharthan, Iswarya Menon, VK Prakash, Shine Tom Chacko, Bhama Arun, and Vasisht Umesh. The film is produced by Sahil Sharma under the banners of Theatre of Dreams and Yoodlee Films. The makers are yet to announce a release date for the film, but it is expected to hit theatres this summer.
