Director Sanjeev Sivan, the younger brother of ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan, has announced that he is working on a film with M. M. Keeravani and Resul Pookutty. Resul is handling the sound department for the film, while RRR's music director M. M. Keeravani is composing the music for it. The film is touted to be a blend of horror and comedy and is expected to feature Zarina Wahab in an important role. It marks a return to horror cinema for the director, who is best known for the 2004 Mammootty-starrer Aparichithan.

Resul last collaborated with Sangeeth on Ozhuki Ozhuki Ozhuki, which features his son Sidhanshu Sivan and earned critical praise at the recent Kolkata International Film Festival. Sanjeev told IANS that his movie would go on floors this June and that it would be filmed in Kerala and South Korea. The crew of the film also includes Manoj Pillai as the cameraman, Sreekar Prasad as the editor, and Deepti Sivan as the executive producer.
