The production company behind the recent hit Premalu, Bhavana Studios, has announced their next film Karate Chandran, starring Fahadh Faasil. The sixth production venture of the company, Karate Chandran will be directed by Roy, a long-time Dileesh Pothan collaborator, and written by S Hareesh and Vinoy Thomas. The Instagram handle of Bhavana Studios shared the title picture of the film, alongside a couple of stills featuring Fahadh clad in a karate costume.

Roy assisted director Dileesh in his releases since the days of Maheshinte Prathikaaram. Further details of the film have yet to be disclosed by the makers. This is the second major announcement that Dileesh is making while Premalu is running in theatres. Earlier, he said that he would direct a film scripted by Syam Pushkaran soon.
