Tovino Thomas' much-awaited Nadikar will have its theatrical release worldwide on May 3, announced the makers of the film. 

The first look poster was released recently in the presence of actor Prabhu, son of 'Nadigar Thilagam' Sivaji Ganeshan, at an event held in Kochi. The film, which was earlier titled Nadikar Thilakam, has now been named Nadikar.

In Nadikar, Tovino plays an actor named David Padikkal who deals with personal and professional crises. 

Directed by Lal Jr, who is best known for helming Honey Bee, the upcoming film features an ensemble cast comprising Soubin Shahir, Bhavana,  Dhyan Srinivasan, Anoop Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Aju Varghese, Srinath Bhasi, Lal, Balu Varghese, Suresh Krishna, Indrans, Madhupal, Khalid Rahman, Ganapathy, and Sreejith Ravi, among others.

Nadikar is bankrolled by Allan Antony and Anoop Venugopal under the banner of Godspeed in association with Y. Naveen and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers. Suvin S Somaseskharan is the movie's scriptwriter, while Alby serves as the Director of Photography. The editing is done by Ratheesh Raj and music is composed by Yakzan Gary Pereira.
