On Monday, the makers of Aashiq Abu's Rifle Club have dropped the video of the song titled Aalunnu Neeye. The song, composed by Rex Vijayan and penned by Anwar Ali, has vocals by Pradeep Kumar and Sithara Krishnakumar. The film was released worldwide on December 19 and opened to positive reviews from critics and general audiences.

Rifle Club is scripted by Syam Pushkaran, Suhas and Dileesh Karunakaran. The film's star-studded ensemble cast includes Dileesh Pothan, Vishnu Agasthya, Vani Viswanath, Bollywood filmmaker-actor Anurag Kashyap, Hanumankind, Vineeth Kumar, Vijayaraghavan, Suresh Krishna, Surabhi Lakshmi, Unnimaya Prasad and Darshana Rajendran.

Aashiq also serves as the cinematographer for Rifle Club, which has editing by V Saajan and production design by Ajayan Chalissery. An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, "Aashiq Abu, who had been a bit off-colour in his last few films, brings his A-game with Rifle Club, where he also doubles up as the cinematographer. He is also aided by Ajayan Chalissery's excellent production design in creating a fascinating storyworld. As a filmmaker, Aashiq also shows commendable sensitivity in portraying violence and bloodshed. The stylised approach to capturing the action makes it all the more enjoyable." It is produced by Aashiq's home banner OPM Cinemas in association with TRU Stories Entertainment.
