Communist Pacha Adhava Appa promises a fun, rural entertainer

Sudani From Nigeria director Zakariya's maiden film as a lead actor, Communist Pacha Adhava Appa is gearing up to hit screens on January 3. Meanwhile, the makers released its trailer on Saturday. From the 2.17-minute long trailer, the film looks like a rural comedy centered around a bunch of grown up men and their local cricket encounters. There also seems to be importance for family dynamics, with Zakariya playing a father of two.

Communist Pacha Adhava Appa is directed by Shamim Moideen and scripted by Ashif Kakkodi. The latter had earlier collaborated with Zakariya as a co-writer in Halal Love Story (2020) and Momo In Dubai (2023) . He also penned Manju Warrier's Ayisha (2023), co-produced by Zakariya.

Communist Pacha Adhava Appa also stars Nazlin, Ranji Kankol, Parakkal Balan, RJ Anuroop, Althaf Salim, Sarasa Balussery, and Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey-fame Kudassanad Kanam. It has cinematography by Shafi Koroth, music by Sreehari K Nair and edits by late Nishad Yusuf.
