Rekhachithram trailer has Asif Ali as a cop trying to unravel past mysteries

The film is directed by Jofin T Chacko, who debuted with Mammootty's The Priest

The trailer of Asif Ali's new film Rekhachithram dropped on Tuesday. After the success of Thalavan, the actor is back again playing a cop in a thriller. From the trailer, it promises to be an investigative thriller on past mysteries about Anaswara Rajan's character, who seems to be from the '80s. The trailer also tries to project Manoj K Jayan's character as the bad, but we never know. What's a thriller without twists?

Rekhachithram is directed by Jofin T Chacko, who debuted with Mammootty's The Priest. John Manthirckal and Ramu Sunil have co-written the screenplay, with the latter also credited for the story. The film also stars Aattam-fame Zarin Shihab, Bhama Arun, Megha Thomas, Siddique, Indrans, Nishanth Sagar, Harisree Ashokan, Shrikant Murali, Sudhi Kopa, Shaju Sreedhar, Priyanka, Jagadish, Unni Lalu, Shaheen Siddique, Vijay Menon, TG Ravi, Sreejith Ravi and Pauly Wilson.

Mujeeb Majeed, who impressed with his work in Kishkindha Kaandam, is handling the music in Rekhachithram. Appu Prabhakar is the cinematographer and Shameer Muhammed is editing the film. The film, produced by Venu Kunnappilly, is slated for release on January 9.
