Goodwill Entertainments dropped a one-minute teaser for its upcoming film Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal a while ago. It stars Joju George, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Alencier Ley Lopez as three brothers in a "family with dark secrets," as one character describes it. The film marks the feature debut of writer-director Sharan Venugopal, who is known for his National Award-winning short film Oru Paathiraa Swapnam Pole (Like a Midnight Dream).

The trailer hints at a past event that continues to haunt the three male leads as they seem to fight over it. At one point in the trailer, both Suraj and Alencier's characters refer to Joju's character as 'pottan' (an incompetent person). The cast also includes Thomas Mathew, Garggi Ananthan, Shelly N Kumar, Sajitha Madathil, and Sarasa Balussery.

Joby George Thadathil produced the film through his Goodwill Entertainments banner. It has cinematography by Appu Prabhakar, music by Rahul Raj, and editing by Jyoti Swaroop Panda. Co-produced by Jemini Phukan and Ramu Padikkal, Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal is slated for a January 16 release.
