The producer of Pravinkoodu Shappu, Anwar Rasheed Entertainment dropped the trailer for the film a while ago. The film stars Basil Joseph as a police officer looking into the death of a man in a toddy shop. Written and directed by Sreeraj Sreenivasan, the film's trailer hints at an eccentric thriller, with a sense of mystery over whether the man's death is a murder or homicide. The film also stars Soubin Shahir, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Chandini Sreedharan. Niyas Aboobecker, Shabareesh Verma, Shivajith Padmanabhan, Joseph, George, Vijo (Mani), Sandeep, Revathy, Ramkumar, Rajeesh Azheekodan, Devaraj, Prathapan, and Jyothika round out the cast.

Vishnu Vijay of Premalu fame has composed music for the film. The trailer hints at a film with a soundtrack reminiscent of Aavesham fame Sushin Shyam's compositions. The technical team of Pravinkoodu Shappu also includes cinematographer Shyju Khalid, editor Shafique Mohamed Ali, production designer Gokul Das, costume designer Sameera Saneesh, and makeup artist Ronex Xavier.

Anwar Rasheed produced the film through his namesake banner. The makers are yet to announce a release date.
