Pavi Caretaker, produced and headlined by Dileep, will be streaming on manoramaMAX from September 6, announced the streamer. The film, helmed by Dear Friend director Vineeth Kumar, was released theatrically on April 26. It is scripted by Rajesh Raghavan, who had previously penned films like Aravindante Athidhikal and 3 Dots.

Pavi Caretaker also stars Johny Antony, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Dharmajan, among others. The film has cinematography by Sanu Thahir, music by Midhun Mukundan, and editing by Deepu Joseph. Upon its release, it received mixed responses from both critics and general audiences.

An excerpt from CE's review of the film reads, "Even though Malayalam cinema is currently experiencing an unprecedented purple patch, Dileep appears unwilling to adapt to changing sensibilities and tastes. He remains obsessively stuck in the era when his loud clown act was acceptable. Pavi Caretaker could have been a reasonably entertaining romantic comedy had it focused more on its romance, spent less time glorifying the lead character's virtuousness, and fleshed out its female characters without reducing them to mere props in the protagonist's journey."
