We had reported that actor Kathir, known for his performances in Tamil films such as Vikram Vedha and Pariyerum Perumal, is making his Malayalam debut with Vikruthi director Emcy Joseph's Meesha. The upcoming film has been wrapped up after 45 days of shooting, announced the makers through social media. It also features Shine Tom Chacko, Hakkim Shah, Srikanth Murali, and Antony in prominent roles.
Sharing his gratitude, Emcy stated, "Huge thanks to the entire cast, crew, and all who braved challenging weather conditions and locations to make this journey a success! Your dedication, support, and warmth mean the world to us! Special thanks to the people of the locations who joined hands with us to make this happen!" Meesha has cinematography by Suresh Rajan, editing by Manoj, and music by Sooraj S Kurup. The film is produced by Sajeer Gafoor under the banner of Unicorn Movies.
Earlier, Emcy was set to direct another project titled Ennittu Avasanam, starring Arjun Ashokan, Anna Ben, and Madhubala in the lead roles. However, the current status of that project remains unknown.
On the other hand, Kathir has SLS Henry's Maanavan and the second season of the Prime Video series Suzhal-The Vortex in the pipeline.
