Bad Boyz teaser: Rahman lets his hair loose in a typical Omar Lulu-style entertainer

The film is eyeing to hit screens for Onam

CE Features

The teaser of Omar Lulu's latest directorial Bad Boyz introduces Rahman in a refreshingly new avatar. The veteran actor, often typecast in serious, brooding roles, is seen having fun for a change. He plays Antappan, a who seems to be a replica of the flamboyant 'achayan' roles aced by Mohanlal, Mammootty and Suresh Gopi.

From the trailer, Antappan and his men, played by Bibin George, Senthil Krishna and Anson Paul, seem to be troublemakers enjoying a carefree life. Bala, Tini Tom, Sheelu Abraham, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Babu Antony and a few others also make fleeting appearances in the teaser.

Bad Boyz is scripted by Sarang Jayaprakash based on Omar's story. With its loud music and splash of colours, the teaser has a signature Omar touch. The technical crew comprises cinematographer Alby, music director William Francis and editor Dilip Dennis. Backed by Abraham Mathew under the banner of Abaam Movies, the film is eyeing Onam release.
