The makers of Mr & Mrs Bachelor, starring Indrajith Sukumaran and Anaswara Rajan, have unveiled its teaser. The film, slated for release on August 23, is directed by Deepu Karunakaran, known for helming films like Crazy Gopalan (2008), Winter (2009), and Teja Bhai & Family (2011).
The fun-filled teaser of Mr & Mrs Bachelor opens with its lead characters, played by Indrajith and Anaswara, in a moving car. Indrajith’s character asks Anaswara if she is a runaway bride, hinting at the premise of the film. It promises to be a road trip comedy centred around a couple with a significant age difference.
Penned by Arjun T Sathyan, Mr & Mrs Bachelor also stars director Deepu, Dayyana Hameed, Rosin Jolly, Biju Pappan, Rahul Madhav, Sohan Seenulal, Manohari Joy, Jibin Gopinath and Laya Simpson in prominent roles. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Pradeep Nair, editor Sobin Soman and music director PS Jayahari. Arjun previously revealed to CE that it is a road trip film, reminiscent of the Hindi film Jab We Met (2007).
