As reported earlier, the Meera Jasmine-starrer Palum Pazhavum is set to hit theatres on August 23. The makers, meanwhile, have released its trailer, which suggests a fun entertainer centred around a relationship between a 33-year-old woman, played by Meera Jasmine, and a college-going youth, played by Queen-fame Aswin Jose.

Palum Pazhavum is scripted by Ashish Rajani Unnikrishnan and directed by VK Prakash. The film's supporting cast includes Shanthi Krishna, Ashokan, Maniyanpilla Raju, Nisha Sarang, Mithun Ramesh, Adil Ibrahim, and Rachana Narayanankutty among others. Cinematographer Rahul Deep, editor Praveen Prabhakar and music director Sachin Balu are part of the technical team. It is backed by Sameer Sait And Vinod Unnithan under the banner of 2 Creative Minds.

Meera, who last headlined M Padmakumar's Queen Elizabeth (2023), also has a Tamil film coming up next. Titled The Test, the film aoso stars has Nayanthara, R Madhavan, and Siddharth.
