Mammootty-starrer Turbo started streaming on SonyLiv on Thursday. The film, directed by Vysakh and scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas, was released worldwide on May 23.
Turbo also stars Anjana Jayaprakash, Bindu Panicker, Shabareesh Varma, Kannada actor Raj B Shetty and Telugu actor Sunil in prominent roles. On the technical front, the film has cinematographer Vishnu Sarma, composer Christo Xavier and editor Shameer Muhammed. It is produced by Mammootty Kampany and presented by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films.
An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, "Though director Vysakh has been on a lean patch lately, he is in his element while handling action—his forte. Turbo would have been riveting if it was more than just Mammootty tearing apart the goons with tools of various shapes and sizes. And for some reason, there's no end to the bad guys in this film."
