Nunakuzhi trailer: Basil Joseph is a rich man entangled in a web of lies in this comedy thriller

The trailer for Jeethu Joseph's Nunakuzhi, featuring Basil Joseph in the lead, was released by the makers on Wednesday. The upcoming film, slated to release on August 15, is scripted by KR Krishna Kumar, who had penned two of Jeethu's earlier films, 12th Man (2022) and Kooman (2022).

Promising a fun-filled comedy thriller, the trailer for Nunakuzhi begins by introducing Eby (Basil), a wealthy man heading a corporate company, who finds himself entangled in a predicament involving a separated couple (Grace Antony and Aju Varghese), a film crew, a police team, and a web of lies connecting them all. The film, according to the makers, is a comedy of errors following the story of a young man caught in a web of lies and mistaken identities.

Nunakuzhi also stars Nikhila Vimal, Manoj K Jayan, Baiju Santhosh, Swasika, Siddique, Baiju Santhosh, Saiju Kurup, Althaf Salim, Shyam Mohan, Azees Nedumangad, Selvaraj, Lena, Kalabhavan Yusuf, Bhasi, Dinesh Prabhakar, Rajesh Paravoor, Riyas Marimayam, Jayakumar Parameswaran, Santhosh Lakshmanan and Shyam Thrukkunnappuzha. On the technical front, the director has retained his frequent collaborators including editor Vinayak VS and cinematographer Satheesh Kurup. The songs are composed by Thrishanku-fame Jay Unnithan and Vishnu Shyam, with the latter, known for his soundtrack in Jeethu's 2023 film Neru, credited for its background score. Nunakuzhi is produced by Yoodlee Films and Bedtime Stories.
