Earlier, we had reported that the Meera Jasmine-starrer Paalum Pazhavum will hit theatres on August 23. On Tuesday, the makers of the upcoming film, directed by VK Prakash and scripted by Ashish Rajani Unnikrishnan, unveiled a new poster featuring its lead pair Meera and Queen-fame Aswin Jose.

Paalum Pazhavum's cast also includes Shanthi Krishna, Ashokan, Maniyanpilla Raju, Nisha Sarang, Mithun Ramesh, Sumesh Chandran, Adil Ibrahim, Rachana Narayanankutty, Shinu Shyamalan, Thushara, Shameer Khan, Franco Francis, Vineeth Ramachandran, Ranjith Manambarakkat, Sandhya Rajendran, Atul Ram Kumar, Pranav Yesudas, R J Sooraj and Babu Sebastian. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Rahul Deep, editor Praveen Prabhakar and music director Sachin Balu. It is backed by Sameer Sait And Vinod Unnithan under the banner of 2 Creative Minds.

Meera was last seen as the titular protagonist of M Padmakumar's 2023 film Queen Elizabeth. Meanwhile, the actor also has a Tamil film, titled The Test, in the pipeline. Directed by S Sashikanth, it has Nayanthara, R Madhavan, and Siddharth in the lead roles alongside Meera.
