The makers of the Malayalam film Aaro, starring Joju George and Anumol in the lead roles, announced that the film will hit the theatres on May 9. 

Directed by Kareem, Aaro has a script Kareem has co- written with Rasheed Parackkal. The film stars Kichu Tellus in a significant role. Others on the cast include Sudhir Karamana, Jayaraj Warrier, Tosh Christy, Kalabhavan Nawaz, Sunil Sukhada, Shivaji Guruvayur, Ajeesh John, Manaf Thrissur, Master Derrick Rajan, Master Altaf Manaf, Anju Krishna, Jasmine Honey, Anishia, and Ambili. 

Under the banner of V Three Productions and Anjali Entertainments, the film is produced by Vinod G. Parrott, V.K. Abdul Karim, Bibin Joshua Baby and Sam Varghese Cherian. The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Madhesh Ram, editor Noufal Abdullah and music composer Bijibal.
