'Mathapithakkale' song from Fahadh Faasil's Aavesham is out

The makers of Fahadh Faasil's Aavesham released a new song titled 'Mathapithakkale' on Saturday. Composed by Sushin Shyam, with lyrics written by Vinayak Sasikumar and MC Couper, the song has been sung by Malayali Monkeys and MC Couper.

The film, written and directed by Jithu Madhavan, was released on April 11 and opened to rave reviews from both critics and general audiences. It also stars Sajin Gopu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Hipzster, Mithun Jai Sankar, Roshan Shanavas, Midhutty in prominent roles.

Actor and Fahadh's wife, Nazriya Nazim, and director, Anwar Rasheed, are jointly backing Aavesham. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Sameer Thahir and editor Vivek Harshan.

Meanwhile, Fahadh will be next seen in the Telugu film Pushpa: The Rule, the much awaited sequel to Pushpa: The Rise. Additionally, he has signed two other Telugu films, Don’t Trouble The Trouble and Oxygen, backed by Baahubali producers. He is also slated to appear in the Tamil films TJ Gnanavel's Vettaiyan, headlined by Rajinikanth, and Sudheesh Shankar's Maaresan, alongside Vadivelu. In Malayalam, he has Althaf Salim's sophomore directorial Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira and debutante Roy's Karate Chandran, written by S Hareesh and Vinoy Thomas.
