Actor Austin Dan Thomas, noted for his roles in Thallumaala and Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, is set to make his directorial debut under Ashiq Usman Productions. It is worth a mention that Austin had earlier worked as the chief associate director in Anjaam Pathiraa, which was also produced by Ashiq Usman.

The upcoming film marks the maiden scriptwriting venture of editor Nishad Yusuf, who recently won the Kerala State Award for his work in Thallumaala. Cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, also part of Thallumaala, has been retained for the new film. The makers, however, are yet to announce details about the cast.

Ashiq Usman is also producing the upcoming Fahadh Faasil-starrer Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, directed by Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela-fame Althaf Salim.
