RDX crosses Rs 50 crores at the worldwide box office

The Malayalam film RDX, released during the Onam festival, has achieved a remarkable triumph by crossing Rs 50 crores in worldwide box office collections. Since its theatrical release on August 25, the film has earned a whopping sum of Rs. 80 crores. The film's earnings until Saturday were disclosed by the makers on their social media accounts.

Directed by debutant Nahas Hidayath, RDX stars Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese and Neeraj Madhav in the lead roles. The film, released along with other Onam contenders, Dulquer Salmaan's King of Kotha and Nivin Pauly's Ramachandra Boss and Co, opened to positive reception. An excerpt from the CE review of the film read, "In the world of Lokesh Kanagarajs and Prashanth Neels, enters debutant director Nahas Hidhayath and shows solid potential in handling action-heavy films.

RDX is scripted by Shabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran. The film cast also includes Aima Rosmy Sebastian, Lal, Baiju Santhosh, Shammi Thilakan, Maala Parvathy, and Nishant Sagar.

RDX is produced by Sophia Paul's Weekend Blockbusters. The film's technical crew comprises Alex J Pulickal as the director of photography, Richard Kevin (Vikram Vedha, Suzhal) as the editor and Sam C S as the music composer.
