The teaser of Vinay Forrt- starrer Somante Krithavu was released online on Saturday. The film is directed by Rohith Narayanan. 

The teaser introduces Vinay Forrt's character, who has an obsession with his sideburns. We also catch a glimpse of a woman who appears to be his mother, taunting him for this obsession.

Masterworks Studios and Raju Malliath are jointly backing the film, which has a story, screenplay and dialogues written by Ranjith K Haridas. 

The cast also features screenwriter Bipin Chandran, Fara Shibla, Manu Joseph, Jayan Cherthala, Niyas Narmakala, Seema G Nair, and a host of newcomers and locals trained to enact the rest of the characters.

Sajith Purushan, who shot Unda and Super Sharanya, is the director of photography, and Bijish Balakrishnan is the editor. The film has music by PS Jayahari.
