Kalyani Priyadarshan's Sesham Mikel Fathima gets a new release date

The makers of Kalyani Priyadarshan-starrer Sesham Mikeil Fathima have announced that the film's release date has been postponed. The film will now be released on November 17 instead of the earlier mentioned date - November 3.

The film, written and directed by debutant Manu C Kumar, is about the journey of a Malabari Muslim woman who pursues a dream of becoming a football commentator. It is Kalyani's second Malabar-based role after playing a voguish social media influencer in Thallumaala.

Sesham Mikeil Fathima also stars Shaheen Siddique, Aneesh G Menon, Sudheesh, Sabumon, Maala Parvathi, Femina George and Sarasa Balussery in key roles. It has cinematography by Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran, music by Hesham Abdul Wahab and edits by Kiran Das. Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy are jointly producing the film. 

Kalyani, last seen in Malayalam in Thallumaala, also has Antony coming up. The Joshiy directorial has her starring alongside Joju George, Nyla Usha and Chemban Vinod. Kalyani is also part of the multi-starrer Varshangalkku Sesham, which sees her reuniting with her Hridayam director Vineeth Sreenivasan. Pranav Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly and Dhyan Sreenivasan also star in it.
