Thoovanamaake video song from Imbam is out

The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film Imbam released the song, Thoovanamaake, from the film on Sunday. Composed by PS Jayhari with lyrics penned by Vinayak Sasikumar, the song has been sung by PS Jayhari along with Hesham Abdul Wahab and Meenakshi ML.

Written and directed by Sreejith Chandran, Imbam is produced by Dr Mathew Mampra under the banner Mampra Cinemas.

The film stars Lalu Alex, Deepak Parambol, Meera Vasudev, Darshana Sudarshan, Irshad Ali, Kalesh Ramanand, Divya M Nair, Laljose, Navas Vallikkunnu, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Dr. Mathew Mampra, IV Junice, Vijayan Karanthoor, Boban Samuel, Bittu Thomas, and Jilu Joseph.

In an earlier conversation with  CE, speaking about the film's core subject, Deepak, who plays a prominent role in the film, said, " The story takes place in Kozhikode, and among the things it discusses are the slowly dwindling reading habits, interest in magazines and books, and political interference in certain creative forms of expression. I play a final-year student cartoonist looking for a space to express his ideas and who meets this man (Lalu Alex) in connection to an issue. It also addresses the generational divide, differences between old and new values, and all that."

The technical crew of the film comprises cinematographer Nijay Jayan and editor Kuriakose Francis Kudasseril.
