Neela Vaanile song from the recently released Malayalam film Pulimada has been unveiled by the makers recently. Composed by Ishaan Dev with lyrics penned by Dr Thaara Jeyashankar, the song has been sung by Pradeep Kumar.

Pulimada is written and directed by AK Sajan. It also marks the return of renowned cinematographer-director Venu behind the camera after a gap of eight years. 

The film hit the theatres on October 26 and opened to positive to mixed reception. An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, " The tonal shift in the final act is both bizarre and problematic, given the issue dealt with is extremely serious. AK Sajan's penchant for last-minute twists backfires this time and ends up leaving a bad aftertaste. It's hard to digest how the film treats the sexual assault angle with the survivor narrating it like some funny prank episode."

Pulimada has Aishwarya Rajesh as the female lead. Chemban Vinod Jose, Lijomol, Jaffer Idukki, Johny Antony, Jeo Baby, Krishnaprabha, Abin Bino, Pauly Valsan, Sona Nair, Jolly Chirayath, Shibla, Balachandra Menon and Abu Salim also star in it.

The film is produced by Einstein Zack Paul and Rajesh Damodaran under the banner of Lant Cinemas and Einstein Media.
