First song from Basil Joseph-starrer Falimy out

The makers of Basil Joseph-starrer Falimy dropped the first single on Saturday. The song titled Manjeera Shinjitham is composed by Vishnu Vijay, who has also sung it with Anthony Daasan. The song's quirky lyrics is penned by writer-director Muhsin Parari (Mu.Ri). Vishnu and Muhsin have earlier collaborated on blockbuster albums in Thallumaala and Sulaikha Manzil.

Falimy is written and directed by debutant Nithish Sahadev. Along with Basil, it stars Jagadish, Manju Pillai, Sandeep Pradeep and Meenaraj in major roles. Director Nithish and Sanjo Joseph have co-written the film, which promises a fun family ride. Its technical team includes cinematographer Bablu Aju, music director Vishnu Vijay, and editor Nidhinl Raj Arol. The film is produced by Cheers Entertainments, who earlier collaborated with Basil in Jan.E.Man and Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey.

Basil, last seen in Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham, is also part of upcoming films like Guruvayoor AmbalanadayilAjayante Randam Moshanam, Varshangalkku Shesham and Vaazha. He is also reportedly gearing up for his Hindi directorial debut with Ranveer Singh.
