The Disney+ Hostar series Masterpeace, starring Sharafudheen and Nithya Menen, will start streaming on October 25. The show is directed by Sreejith N, who debuted with the Biju Menon-starrer Oru Thekkan Thallu Case. Scripted by Praveen S, Masterpeace is billed as an "Indian family saga filled with drama and unexpected twists".

Sharafudheen and Nithya play a newly married couple in the series, which explores how their minor family issues spiral into a major dilemma when parents step in. Renji Panicker, Maala Parvathi, Shanthi Krishna, and Ashokan essay the other major roles. Masterpeace has its cinematography by Aslam K Purayil, editing by Riyas K Babhar, and music by Bijibal. It is produced by Mathew George.

Masterpeace is the second Malayalam web series from Disney+ Hotstar after debuting with the investigative thriller, Kerala Crime Files, which met with a largely positive response. The steamer's upcoming slate also includes the Nithin Renji Panicker directorial Madhuvidhu, Love Under Construction, starring Neeraj Madhav, Aju Varghese and Gouri G Kishan, and 1000+ Babies, starring Rahman and Neena Gupta.
