Earlier, we had reported that actor Mohanlal would be headlining an upcoming Malayalam film, Neru, helmed by Jeethu Joseph. It has now been learned that the film's shooting has been completed.

Neru marks Mohanlal's fifth collaboration with Jeethu Joseph after the Drishyam films 12th Man and the yet-to-be-released Ram. 

Billed as a legal thriller, Neru has a script that Jeethu Joseph co-wrote with actor-advocate Santhi Mayadevi, who also essayed a crucial role in Drishyam 2. 

Priyamani plays the female lead in the film, which also stars Anaswara Rajan, Ganesh Kumar, and Jagadish.

On the technical front, Jeethu has got his frequent collaborators—cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, music director Vishnu Shyam, and editor VS Vinayak.

Antony Perumbavoor's Aashirvad Cinemas is producing the film.
