Jai Ganesha, the upcoming Malayalam film headlined by Unni Mikundan, has been launched with a pooja ceremony on Friday. It has also been learned that the film will go on floors on November 11. The film is directed by Ranjit Sankar. 

Billed as a family entertainer, Jai Ganesha stars Mahima Nambiar as the female lead and also features Jomol in a significant role. After a brief hiatus, the upcoming film will mark Jomol's return to the film industry. She will be essaying the role of a criminal lawyer.

Jai Ganesha, according to the makers, is "an extremely demanding script that traverses between reality and imagination." Chandru Selvaraj, who shot Mahaveeryar and Madhura Manohara Moham, will handle the film's cinematography, and Sankar Sharma has been assigned as the composer.
